So I have no problem with weed. Not for it, not against it. Never will smoke it because I have a problem with smoke in general, and every time I've tried weed it's kicked up a whole slew of illness. But I have no problem with other people doing it.
Anyways, 3 years ago my mom thought it necessary to tell the drug-free, semi-friendless honor student that never leaves her room that weed is bad and she shouldn't ever do it because it's nothing but a gate way drug that will leave you homeless, fat, and alone. I really didn't take any of that to mind. 99% of my friends at school were hard core stoners but smart as heck. My dad stayed silent because in high school he was a stoner.
Well just now the news was on and they were talking about revenue in Colorado because of weed legalization, and our governor is trying to legalize it here. She turned to my uncle and said, "Y'know, I heard weed is good for arthritis." (she has it)
I walk into the living room looking at her like, "Excuse me??"
So she points at me and says, "And migraines!" (I have terrible times with them)
I just started laughing, and told her that I told her all that 3 years ago but all she could do is preach about how terrible it is for you.
