it's called parade because somebody gets killed the day of the memorial day parade and people parade out in the streets after the main character has been declared guilty it's really scary oh my god

my APUSH homework the other day was to take notes on the chapter about WWI and the topic of antisemitism came up and my book mentioned leo frank so on my homework I added "and the entire plot of parade" followed by a little frowny face because it made me so sad :c
