I do this thing in dance company where I just sort of fall into my splits and I go "jee welp now I'm stretched enough" and that's FALSE
you should always warm up properly
do not look to me for guidance because I never warm up as much as I'm supposed to and it's going to be the death of me one day

yeah. Luckily I'm not going to school on monday so I won't have to go to dance rehearsal. I hope I'll be better by dance class on tuesday :c

When you pull a muscle, it's really these tiny little tears in it, but the muscle that grows over it to heal it isn't as flexible, so you need to stretch more than before you pulled it. Just a fyi for the future

I would start stretching bat least 15 minutes before you dance. That's what my coach tells me to do for tennis

I would start stretching bat least 15 minutes before you dance. That's what my coach tells me to do for tennis I'm always the first one in the room before dance company. I just get really impatient so I do a couple splits and call myself warmed up. I need to stop :c
