I used to LOVE doing it. I'd get all these encouraging messages to keep going. Even now they're a few sitting in my inbox begging me to continue some old story I dropped.
The thing is I can't stand re-reading and always preferred using beta users, but I hate asking for one on fanfiction, because they either half-arse it('oh yeah it's wonderful') or don't actually do any real advising. ('It's stupid to name character this because I don't like that name') I just want someone who can honestly tell me the flow is good, the characters aren't OOC(I haaaaatttttteee OOC), and nothing is too over-the-top.
