my class ended up narrowing it down to the taming of the shrew, pride and prejudice (go figure), and catch-22 which meant voltaire was out of the question
which I could accept, except I found out that my teacher is the ONLY ONE making their kids narrow it down to three choices and that all the other teachers are letting their kids read whatever book on the list they want provided at least one other people was reading something by the same author and that's so so so not fair because now all my friends get to read voltaire and I don't
ugh first he takes away our fifteen minutes of independent reading time at the beginning of class and now I can't even get the required reading I want

jane austin is the worst author i've ever read ugh.
taming of the shrew is okay and i only vaguely remember reading catch 22
you can probably read candide over the summer or s/t!
