fact: the more scholarships you get the more free food you get
I got an $8000 scholarship for GMU a while ago, but it's out of state tuition anyways so it's not as great as you'd think
then I just got a $7000 scholarship for UMBC which is AWESOME because in-state tuition is $9000 wowwowowowow and I also get to skip school to attend another little party thing for it and free breakfast and lunch again wheeeee
getting into college is going to make me fat :c

right like GMU is hosting this bioengineering day and I wasn't going to go since I decided to just do biology with pre-med but then they were like 'FREE FOOD' and dang I'm not going to say no to that

MY MOM JUST SCREAMED AND TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS MISTAKEN AND THAT TUITION FOR UMBC IS ACTUALLY ONLY $7,228 A YEAR
EXCUSE U DO YOU MEAN TO SAY I COULD GO TO SCHOOL FOR $228 A YEAR
AND THEN IF I WIN OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS I COULD POTENTIALLY GET BOARDING COSTS COVERED

my mom is so excited too she was like "NOW I CAN SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT"
but idk because UMBC isn't even my top choice and if I get into say an ivy league, I don't know if I should fulfill my childhood dream of going to an ivy league college or staying here because it seems like such a waste to be practically handed free college and not take advantage of it :c
