I know we don't have a bunch of members right now, but I want to create a stable staff now.
I have a few ideas I want to run by a couple of people on here, but other than that the staff positions are open for application.
I really have to stress that I need active, dedicated people. I don't want this to be a site that's just for fun before I quit. I want this to BECOME something.
I'm going to list the staff positions below and what you'll be required to do. There will be a lot of positions, but it's not all moderator stuff.
When you fill out the application, do NOT post it here! PM it to me, please!
Advertisement Team
The advertisement team is composed of two members with moderator powers. Their sole purpose is to gain active members. The reason there are two is so that one person does not get overwhelmed with it.
I would like a twitter and facebook page associated with the website. I can set that up personally if requested, or the advertisement team can set that up.
Once a day: Advertise on the twitter and facebook page. This can be just a one status thing, that's fine. Welcome new members that post in the Introduction forum, and link them to the tutorial thread (coming soon).
Once a week: Submit a slogan to me for the News feed. (Must be submitted by Saturday night to be changed on Sunday)
Once a month: Submit a contest idea to me that will help gain active, lasting members.
Support Team
The support team are two members that act as my eyes and ears as far as glitches, the suggestion forum, and member questions on how-tos.
The main job of the support team is to check the suggestion forum daily and send me any ideas from there that they think would be good. You don't have to be picky. If you even just like the idea I'd love to see it. If they experience a glitch or complications, I'd like notice. If they see a member asking questions like, "How do I upload a picture?" they answer it, or they can send the question to me.
Forum Moderators
This two member position is basically what you think it would be. You keep an eye on the forum, and make sure the members are following the rules. I'm not expecting much activity in this area until the forum grows.
Alright, I think that's all that I need for now. I will post the application below, and would like for you to send them via PM only! That way I don't have to constantly come back here, and possibly have applications get lost in the swarm of posts. Feel free to ask questions!
