Yo all my korean friends are flipping out bc yuna got silver instead of gold
Tbh idk what to say about that, butthere defintely is a home advantage bc how does yulia score higher than wagner after falling twice when wagner didnt fall at all
An god damn wagner should have been fourth not gold. Ugh i hate gold shes such a snob lkke she has the humility of donald trump i stg
Ive seen yunas performance but not spakjdkakbtskski's performance once i see that ill make my judgement ayy

So i feel like she actually genuinely won the gold. She might have had a point boost from home ice, but this was great. It was energetic, difficult, and it really brought in my attention.
Maybe the point difference should have only been 1 or 2, but she definitely deserved the gold despite that small trip

I haven't seen the long program yeeeet so I can't draw any conclusions yet but I was definitely shocked when I heard yuna got silver because after her short I was expecting her to get gold

Saaaame. I feel like she should have chose a more difficult program for te long program. The Russian skater whose name i can never spell chose a level 4 difficulty compared to yuna's level 3. The base score for tr russian skater was already 5 points higher than yuna, and with such a close gap btwn the scores from the short program yuna shouldn't have risked it.

IM CHANGING MY OPINION AFTER READING SEVERAL ARTICLES ON THE JUDGES AND THE SITUATION
Adelina's performance was certainly energetic and I preferred it over Yuna's because of that entertainment factor (that's why I originally said that she deserved gold). But despite that, Yuna clearly had the better execution. If Adelina really deserved that medal, the point difference should have been 1 maybe 2 points, but definitely not 5. The home ice advantage is really apparent here and I don't think it's right. The best skater should win regardless of country.
smh I bet the Russians were just mad that they didn't qualify for men's hockey.

No though yeah I just saw it and I'm so proud of mao like she could have just given up but no it was her last olympics and she gave it her best and she landed her triple axle and it was amazing
and tbh I was still feeling yuna for gold??? I feel like it was a cleaner skate and idk her artistic component just ugh she's just a beautiful skater and that long program really captivated me u feel
