Recently I took commissions, but I gave up after the third one because they basically just wanted the same character drawn over and over just in different variations and in totally unique personalities, so I just gave em a freebie. I learned a new pixel style, sorta. It was from a game? I think, called Kumatanchi. Or somethin like that.
It looked like this in the end, she's a space cat.
I don't think I got the line work 100% correct but I gotta say, the shading was pretty dang close to the original style.
Also, the biggest work I would have to point out right now is a portrait of my boyfriend's character I did. I was trying to paint. It was fun. It was also kinda stressful cause i'm not good at paintin nor am I good at manly men but I did a pretty good job at both the paintin and the
manly
men
part.
And to wrap it up, I recently got copic markers. Yay
So I drew this thing, it took over 10 hours, but I think it turned out pretty dang good. Sadly my scanner is too small to scan the whole drawing, her arm is cut off, and you can't see the cool designs above the butterfly, but I wanted to get the butterfly in there, cause I thought it was kinda important. Anyways
I was pretty proud of how it turned out, using a sorta not really realistic style, it was actually a lot easier than the normal anime/cartoony-like style that I usually use. Maybe cause I try to exaggerate the poses or body types too much, but it's always nice to go back to the basics. Normal human-like totally not alien shaped bodies.
My mom was proud of this last one.
I want to start doing pay pal commissions, I would like to save up some money. Partially because I found that I really like coffee and lattes, specifically lattes, they are delicious. I feel like one of those hipster chicks who hang out with their phones and laptops at the local starbucks, but there isn't really a starbucks nearby nor do I have a phone but I have a laptop that I can't really take with me cause
the battery
just doesn't
want to
work anymore.
But I can still enjoy those delicious lattes

I could go for one right now.
But maybe after I do some pay pal commissions, my mom will treat me to an extra "grande" I think that's what the size is at least, starbucks is kinda stupidly fancy like that.
