wow you know, you get a $7000 scholarship and then a $1300 scholarship and you get a $4000 stafford loan and you laugh and go "wow paying for college is going to be a breeze"
and then it hits you that you still need five thousand bucks a semester and golly jee why don't you just apply for a private loan
WELL
I'll tell you why
because in order for YOU to apply for a loan you have to be employed for two years previously which, you haven't been because your parents wouldn't LET you because you were IN SCHOOL
so just have your parents co-sign it, right? WRONG. In order for your parents to co-sign, they have to have had satisfactory credit for the past two years
oh but WAIT your parents filed for bankruptcy last year didn't they? HAHAHAHHA sucks
so private loans are out the window and your bank is like "sorry lol can't help"
so your mom calls the school and they're like "sorry lol can't help"
so now your mom's like "I'm trying to find everything I can otherwise you can't go to college and that's over with, sorry :c"
AND THERE GOES TWELVE YEARS OF YOUR LIFE DOWN THE TOILET OH GOLLY GOSH WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE
I hate this country I hate banks I hate money I hate adults why don't adults ever want to help me I hate being an adult I hate facing reality I hate everything I'm going to throw up

Are you not getting any money from financial aid? Have you applied for work study? Or e-mailed/called anyone at fafsa? I did that when we were still $6000 short so they raised how much loans I could get.

my mom's tried that. We've squeezed all we can get out of fafsa
nobody wants to give us loans
and I think the deadline has passed for work study
I don't know what to do
