yeah like it got SLAMMED but it's my literal favorite musical ever and I can't find anything bad with it??? It was called out for having boring music, the same music that I've been blasting for a week straight without getting tired off and for having a 'shallow plot' except I still cry every time I watch it?  ? stOP |

it was a recent musical but it was released in chicago before it came to broadway, probably before miley cyrus
and they definitely weren't basing it off of her lyrics omfg it was just a cute little metaphor because the dad likes to stretch the truth a lot so it's like "lol he bends the truth with a wrecking ball aka is it really the truth anymore"
