I literally do not care how advanced/unique your powers are, if you want the basic flight/invincibility/super strength that's cool, or if you want to go crazy, that's cool too and I don't care if you steal real superheros' powers
to make things easy, let's assume everyone lives in the equivalent of the stark tower

name;
Nolan Davids
alias;
Dr. Psy, just Psy for short
age;
twenty eight
appearance;
the very stereotype of a doctor who doesn't know what to do with himself. His skin is dark, his hair is rusty red and shaggy and his face has permanent scruff. Grey eyes, thick eyebrows, oddly long eyelashes, gaunt face, he kind of looks scary in a way that frightens small children and makes teenagers swoon. He's also nearly blind as a bat and often loses his glasses, go figure.
costume??;
Silver plated goggles with a built in eye prescription, the only glasses he dares not lose.
gender/sexual orientation;
cishet male
power(s); Really the only thing psychic about him is his one way telepathy. AKA, he can send thoughts into other people's head but he can't receive any messages back. Useful during covert operations, not so useful in real life. His real abilities come in the form of
hallucinations, able to create mirages out of thin air for a target or targets of his choice. Depending on his physical health, these hallucinations can be strong enough to touch, making them harder to see through. He can create hallucinations of objects, earthly elements, people, and even entire rooms, although he's not yet able to make his human hallucinations talk, which can make things difficult at times. On the flip side, he can also expose and bring down other people's hallucinations.
bio;
When it became clear that Nolan was a clever child around the age of seven, he was kidnapped and forced to watch his parents and baby sister getting slaughtered in front of him. While imprisoned, he was tortured and experimented on with all kinds of tests and drugs and observations, being crafted into the perfect villain. At the age of twelve, he found he could use his new powers to break out and expose the secret facility to the general public. He lived on the streets for about two months before a schoolteacher found him and generously paid to send him to a boarding school. From then on, he kept his abilities hidden and focused on his studies so he could go to med school and eventually become a surgeon, specializing in neurosurgery. During one particular emergency surgery, his patient began to unconsciously cause all sorts of medical supplies to float, and then she started internally freaking out and caused the entire room to go haywire. Nolan had to create a hallucination of her husband in order to calm her down despite the fact that her husband had come in dead on arrival. There, he was discovered and agreed to form this new collaboration of heroes. Now he's the official field work medic and he certainly doesn't regret it
other; despite his scruffy appearance, he's actually a pretty gentle guy. He's a pretty big environmentalist and knows too many dumb science jokes. He's also a really good liar, which probably comes with being able to create physical lies with his mind, but it also makes him pretty good undercover. Unfortunately, he has no sense of modesty and will often parade around the building in nothing but boxers and he will also steal your food.
name;
Robin Branes
alias;
The Inheritor
age;
nineteen
appearance;
Robin has sandy colored straight hair that touches Robin's shoulders, and Robin usually keeps it up in a braid or a ponytail, especially during combat. Robin has an angular face and wide, green eyes, and high cheekbones. Being still a teenager, Robin has that weird sense of fashion that's somewhere a cross between a hipster and a punk rockstar, and the older heroes often tease Robin about it, but y'know, whatevs.
costume??;
gender/sexual orientation; biologically male, but agender with no pronouns/typically attracted to masculine persons
power(s);
just as the name suggests. Robin is a mimic. Basically, Robin obtains the power of the last person Robin touched. Which can actually get pretty annoying because like, if Robin is flying around, Robin can't carry a hero who can't fly, because then they'll both start freefalling out of the sky. It also sucks because sometimes the best way to beat a villain is to come at them with their own powers, but depending on how dangerous they are, Robin might not be able to (or want to) get close enough to touch said villain.
bio;
Robin may have been born with this ability. Who knows. The point it, a superhero came to visit Robin's school when Robin was in kindergarten, Robin gave her a hug, and later when Robin was being teased for playing with playing with the girls, Robin got angry and punched the bully straight into the wall, which of course cracked and freaked everyone out. After a run-in with the superhero control equivalent of SHIELD, it was agreed that Robin would continue to exist as a normal child, but under surveillance. Robin's parents promptly moved all the way across the country to a designated safehouse, where Robin could live as a regular child at school, and as a superhero at home. For the longest time, Robin was stuck with the powers of the last hero Robin touched, which wasn't all bad because when you can fly, who needs ladders to help their moms dust off the top of the TV? Of course the laser vision might have been a bit much. On Robin's graduation day, Robin was faced with the decision to continue leading a normal life or to come and form a new team of specialists. Believing that Robin could save people, Robin agreed, and left the comfort of home in exchange for a home filled with strangers.
other; Robin is actually a pretty solid pacifist as much as Robin can be. Robin avoids touching people with super strength and is always on the defense, never on the offense. Robin's motto is stun, don't kill, and encourages others to load their guns with non-fatal bullets. Even when Robin gets really angry, which is actually quite often, Robin prefers to punch walls and scream into pillows rather than seeking revenge.
and then I'll create a baddie just for kicks
