did you know that's a thing
promposals
like I knew they were a thing, I just didn't know there was actual terminology for the thing
which I guess is good because my mom told me she'd like me to go with a boy just because it's """""traditional"""" and even she went to prom with a guy friend but I told her not to bet on it
but yeah idk. My best friend asked me first so I obviously said okay, and then ironically, another kid who my friends have told me has been exhibiting suspicious 'more than friends' behavior asked me a while later and I felt really bad for turning him down? Like I told him somebody already asked me and I don't know if that was the right thing to say because I don't want to insinuate that I would have gone with him if he had offered first and get his hopes up, but tbh I probably would have said yes if he had been first just because I really don't see what the big deal is about prom dates anyways but idk
boys are complicated and I just don't want to make anybody feel bad??

my school doesnt even do prom
I NEVER BEEN TO A PROM
and how did he ask ? normal or did he go all out for his promposal?

i have never been ask to prom my school doesnt even do prom I NEVER BEEN TO A PROM and how did he ask ? normal or did he go all out for his promposal? naw man we were eating lunch and he was like "we should go to prom together" and I was like "k" |

You definitely did the right thing!!  have fun! Omg for both of my proms, it's pretty much just a "hey wanna go to prom?". It's never really special LOL in my town the guys really only make it special if they are dating a girl or really really like them....but the majority just go with friends?? |

I mean it's really cute and I like hearing about other people who do that sort of thing, but idk, it's just not for me, I prefer subtleness
like yesterday a guy on our gloving crew, you know where they wear the light up gloves and do light shows, pulled out a lit-up sign in the middle of their performance that read "PROM?" for his girlfriend and that was really cool omg

i didn't know about promposals until earlier this year when i started stalking my crushes (now ex) girlfriend on twitter LOL she is obsessed with them LMAO
also wow that sounds really bad but i don't mean like legit stakling okay omg
i never went to prom either and i never will get the chance lololol
my friend wanted me to go with her but i idn't want to so i never replied back omg

i got serenaded and did some ballroom dance thing and we had cute corsages. GO BIG OR GO HOME EVEN IF IT'S A PLATONIC PROMPOSAL PLAPOSAL
I also helped two promposals one of them was really cute he got a table fr his girlfriend and set it up in the middle of the senior atrium and a cupcake from crumbs and got some kids in the orchestra to play some romantic songs~
the other one was ugh hella stressful and stupid
man, i wish I had a cute romantic promposal though.
How did I go through highschool and never have any ROMANTIC MOMENTS UGH

We have windows in our classroom and one dude (in the middle of class) climbed through the window and asked his girlfriend to prom with flowers and chocolate

omg thats cute!!
this guy in my study hall arranged something with the principal..he sent a pass to his girlfriend that said to go to the principal's office IMMEDIATELY..and she was so scared! He was like "do you have something to tell me?" and she was like "....no???" and the principal said "well your boyfriend has something to tell you" and then i guess he had flowers waiting for her with a card that said "PROM?"
