had a pretty chill convo with obama, u know how it is
no but seriously we did see the head chef just sort of walking around, which was really cool. It was GREAT though omg my art teacher and her artist husband knew more about the artwork there than the room attendants
and then we walked over to the national art gallery and acted like pretentious AP art students and felt sad about our own art and had a good long laugh at some of the byzantine art. Because like, believe me I appreciate byzantine art as much as the next guy, I think it's a really important part of art history, but when you pass a religious painting where a saint seriously looks like he's holding a baseball bat, you have to laugh.
