But yeah my brother and I make a card and we get her a few gifts and go out to eat
Like last year we went to the Cheesecake Factory and it was so good

We don't do anything for mother's day anymore. xD
Three years ago I saved up my allowance money, stayed up all night cleaning and making a hand-made banner that I strung across the entry to the kitchen(it was completely colored, took 4 hours to make) and stayed awake to make breakfast and cake to surprise her. She came in, drank a cup of coffee, and then yelled at me for making a mess(there was no mess, I cleaned up the kitchen before everyone woke up). My dad got pissed and said that every year we bust our a**es for her, and every year she just tells us it's not good enough or we messed it up, so no more mother's day.
