Of being belittled for the way I chose to give birth.

that's really none of people's business
people should be allowed to give birth however they think best, regardless of circumstance :c

It's not their business. It pisses me off
"Oh god did you get the epidural?" "No" "Oh what did you have" "Nothing"
"Wow you think you're something doing it without anything. You get no medal for doing it without. Why would you be in pain when you don't have to. People always act like they're better than anyone else If they do it without... Blahblahblah etc"
I'm proud I did it without because it's what I wanted.
No matter how you give birth it's hard and it hurts. I don't shame anyone for giving birth how they choose to. So why can't people extend the same curtosey to me.

Good lord I wouldn't mess with anyone that pushed out a baby with out epidural. They are superhumans. You deserve a medal jesus. Those people don't know what they are talking about.

my mom didn't have an epidural when she had me either, and that was her choice. She had an epidural with my brother, and that was also her choice. And it's your choice and people who don't respect that don't deserve to have you in their presence.

Exactly. No matter how you give birth you should be praised. It ain't easy! It just makes me sick that you can't have a choice and be made to feel good for that choice. Everyone has to bring you down

They are just jealous you could deal with the pain more then they can so they are trying to make you feel bad when you should be proud of yourself

My sister had my niece without an epidural and jesus christ
The thought of childbirth gives me pain LOL
With or without, what is happening is something really amazing and incredible and it's not anyone's right to try to tell someone anything about their own experiences because it's not their place. You did an awesome thing and forreal you DO deserve a medal!

You'd think that they'd have stopped asking and going on about it after 16 and a half months too. It's starting to get old.
