irony is when you call people retarded while wearing a "spread the word to end the word" lanyard
it's basically the campaign that started when I was actually in middle school to stop kids from using the 'r' word
and the other day people were handing out lanyards with the slogan and I took one myself because dude it's a really good message and yes I want to be a part of this
but then I guess some people were literally just "oh cool free lanyards" so I was at the gym today and lo and behold two obnoxious guys were there that were wearing the lanyards and using the slur practically every other sentence

That ticks me off. When people say that word, especially with a negative tone, I honestly want to cry. It's so rude and degrading. That's one thing I can't tolerate!

Honestly ugh!! I can't believe I used to say that when I was younger...I'm so ashamed of myself. I remember I stopped because one of my best friends has a brother with autism and cerebral palsy and I absolutely fell in love with him! He's the sweetest! And it broke my heart when people woul call him a "retard". So disrespectful
