omg in my dance class, this one girl was named Julia H, and I guess in one of her classes there were two other girls also named Julia H and that must have been the most confusing thing

what's really funny is my name was apparently really popular in the 80s/90s but i have only ever met like a handful of people with my name which is weird wat
i'd hate to be named like sarah or jessica or st omg can u imagine just something rlly popular
i wonder if eventually people start going by like usernames

also on the topic of names i want to name my kids something super unique and weird like saschia or fhenrir or nathaniel or summat and then one of them will be like john. or matt. or susie. and they will have spongebob's circle smooth face from that one episode and they will be bland. and boring. and a lawyer or office worker while they're siblings are artists and actresses haha

i've seen her and 12 years a slave so u bet i'll be cheering for 12 years a slave to win all the oscars
by the way, what do you think of jlaw beating lupita nyong'o in the golden globes/baftas? i haven't actually seen american hustle so i can't be a judge of her performance, but lupita nyong'o was incredible in 12 years.

jordan definitely said it better than I could, but jennifer's performance was safe. She's a phenomenal actress, but her role wasn't particularly as dramatic as say silver linings playbook. She acted within her comfort zone and it was good, but it wasn't extraordinary.
Lupita nyong'o on the other hand took her role and demolished the entire movie. She was captivating in an otherwise uncomfortable type of role, and in terms of just their two movies this year, she definitely outshined jennifer
and I feel like jennifer is becoming one of those actresses who gets the win just because she's jennifer lawrence. Kind of like how daniel day-lewis always gets the win, but he's different in the sense that he doesn't really take roles that WON'T put him in the winner's circle, so he always kind of deserves it whereas jennifer just sort of goes and does whatever movie and gets the win because WOW JENNIFER LAWRENCE!!!
I mean I love her and everything but this year should not have been her year.

I admit she totally has her problems. But I feel like she has good intentions, and if someone would just call her out to her face and tell her she can get offensive, I think she'd watch herself a bit more. I get she's trying to be funny but she needs to learn that as a role model she should be careful about the things she says.
